The Iceberg

We use the iceberg because it is a perfect illustration of the way we learn to live life.

The tip of the iceberg represents the way we live when appearance and performance are the focus. Most of us are raised with this emphasis.

To live at the tip of the iceberg often feels easier since we usually know what people expect from us at this level. Yet, in the long run, it leaves us as shallow, superficial people since Scripture tells us that we were created for more than this.

In fact, the Lord reveals that His focus is on the personal part, that which dwells at the bottom of the iceberg. Thus, the biblical warning regarding life as an iceberg.

Our Purpose

Hope Coming Ministries exists to help people examine their hearts in order to consider what changes would stir up the desire for a more hopeful, exciting and meaningful life.

We welcome you to Hope Coming Ministries (HCM). We have tried to provide a clear picture of who we are and what we do, however, if you find that your questions are not answered here we invite you to contact us.

Counseling
All counselors or therapists endeavor to help people move away from or through personal problems toward a better quality of life.

The beliefs of the counselor about what the quality of life should be and what causes a person to change are part of the counselor's model and theory of counseling. It is therefore important for anyone seeking counseling. to know the basis of the counselor's beliefs about what is "normal" and motivates a person to change.

Hope Coming Ministries is the only professional biblical counseling center in the region.

HCM is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation. Tax exempt status was granted 07/13/2005 our ID number is 55-0901813
HCM has been offering counseling. services for over 25 years
HCM services are offered at reasonable rates
HCM is not affiliated with any church or religious organization and does not make any attempt to persuade counselees from attending churches of their own choosing.
HCM Does not offer Religious Counseling.
